Mathematics and Informatics, Number 1/2021, Volume 64

Уважаеми автори, читатели, колеги,
С повечето от Вас се познаваме, а с някои сме работили заедно.Днес бих искал да се обърна към Вас в качеството си на главен редактор на научно списание „Математика и информатика“, списвано и отпечатвано от Национално издателство за образование и наука „Аз-буки“. Стремежът на Редакционната колегия е списанието да бъде форум за научно знание, за критично обсъждане и разпространяване на нови идеи, за среща на енергията, фантазията и съзидателността на новото дигитално поколение с житейския опит, знанията и мъдростта на аналоговото поколение. Форум не за противопоставяне, а за съвместна работа и действие, от което да спечели развитието на науката, образованието и общество, като цяло. Математиката, информатиката и информационните технологии днес са съществен фактор за ускоряване на общественото развитие. Възможностите им обаче далеч не са изчерпани. Надявам се, с ваша помощ и съпричастност списанието през 2021 г. да допринесе още повече както за развитието на тези науки, така и за разширяване на приложенията им във всички сфери на обществения живот.
